CSC Presents: Functional English with Paul McDonnell

The Functional English Class is designed to help Deaf adults develop basic English reading and writing skills in order to build their confidence when accessing information or communicating in English.  Students will learn how to read emergency and frequently seen words and phrases, answer basic questions, and share critical information in English.  For example, students will learn warning/emergency vocabulary, learn how to share personal information when appropriate, and carry on basic communication in written English.  Class activities include role play, vocabulary lists, flash cards, interactive smart board work, individual, partner and small group work.Click here to register now.
