Hawaii Sign Language

This course provides students with basic information about and basic skills in Hawaii Sign Language (HSL), a critically endangered language isolate that developed independently of all other known languages.

Sewing Class

Join instructor Linda Lambrecht as she teaches participants how to use the sewing machine properly and effectively. We have two sewing machine to share. Please bring sewing accessories if you have at home.

People Skills

The People Skills class is an introductory course designed to prepare Deaf adults for success on the job and in their personal lives.

Job Club – Summer/Fall 2018

Job Club will teach you job, occupation, and business skills. We will cover how to make a resume, get job search support, practice interview techniques, develop workplace skills, and more!

The JOBS Club is designed to prepare Deaf adults on how to find, obtain and maintain employment.

Family ASL for Professionals

An introductory signing class for those who work with families with young deaf or hard of hearing children, or those who may need signing support.

ASL 101

This course is designed for anyone to improve or review the basics of ASL, including appropriate use of expressions and Deaf culture.

Community ASL

Your hands are used for many reasons, but, if you have never used American Sign Language… You are missing out! Come and learn with us!

Drivers Education

Instructor Paul McDonnell takes students through the current Hawaii Driver’s Manual so they obtain the knowledge needed to pass the learner’s permit or written portion of the driver’s license test in Hawaii

Real World Numbers

The “Real World Numbers” class is a combination of functional English and Functional Math level courses.
